Medicare NPI Deadline March 1, 2008
As of March 1, 2008, claims without an NPI in the primary provider field (i.e., the billing, pay-to and rendering fields) will be rejected. For more information on the Medicare NPI deadline or to test your Medicare Claims, visit the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) NPI Overview site.
