Focus Reports Now Part of McKesson
On November 24, McKesson Corporation purchased the Focus Reports application from Inborne Technology Corporation. Focus Reports is the largest-selling reporting solution for Medisoft. McKesson is working to integrate Focus Reports as a key new feature in Medisoft Version 15, which is scheduled for general availability in March 2009. Medicare NPI Deadline May 28, 2008
As of May 28, 2008, the NPI is required for all HIPAA Standard Transactions. On all HIPAA electronic transactions, paper claims and SPR remittance advice, NPI must be used in primary and secondary provider fields. Medicare legacy identifiers in the primary or secondary fields will are no longer accepted and will result in rejection of the transaction.
